The State, in partnership with Inteval is participating the val.EU project funded by Erasmus+. The EVEQ project is an Erasmus+ strategic partnership in adult education. The project is aiming at developing a state-of-the-art approach in the provision of common European values to adult learners and beyond. The methodology is basing on the principles of Cultural Intelligence (CQ). Cultural intelligence is a rather new methodology that can be understood as the capability to relate and work effectively across cultures. This approach will be transferred and further developed as a practice model for European Intelligence (EQ), easily useable and transferable to different teaching and learning environments.

On the 16th and 17th of March the second meeting for the val.EU project took place in Helsingor in Denmark. We were hosted by MHT Consulting who put together an interesting and entertaining programme.
We had an opportunity to update the partners on the project activity from the different partners. Each partner is employing a different approach using the methodology, this ranges from forum theatre to the creation of a board game.
A panel of local people came together to discuss their views on European Values which led to a robust discussion about both personal values and the future of the EU.
It was a very enjoyable and informative two days, and we look forward to the next meeting in Macedonia in September.
